Questions
What is Discord’s file size limit?
20 MB per file on a free account since 13 August 2026, 50 MB with Nitro Basic and 500 MB with Nitro. Many guides still say 8 or 10 MB.
How do I send a video over 20 MB on Discord?
Compress it with the Discord preset in Compress Video, or trim it to the part you want to show. The Discord walkthrough has the settings for game clips.
Why won’t my emoji upload?
It’s probably over 256 KB — animated GIFs often are. Make it smaller in pixels and colors, or shorter, until it fits.
