How to use it

Your picture goes into this browser tab, gets your name or logo stamped on it on your device, and comes back marked as yours. 0 bytes uploaded

  1. Add your files

    Add the photos — one, or a whole folder for a listing.

  2. Check the settings

    Type your name or choose a logo, then pick the corner, size and opacity. The preview shows it on your photo.

  3. Save the result

    Press Add the watermark and save them, one at a time or all together as a ZIP.

Why it doesn’t upload

You watermark a picture because you don’t yet trust where it is going. Uploading it to a stranger’s server first would defeat the point, so here the watermark is drawn in this tab and the original never leaves your device.

How to check for yourself

Worth knowing

  • A watermark discourages copying; it doesn’t prevent it. A corner mark can be cropped off, which is why the tiled option exists.
  • A JPG is saved again after stamping, at 92% quality by default — visually the same as the original.
  • Hidden metadata (camera, date, location) is not carried into the watermarked copy.
  • Only the first frame of an animated GIF is kept.

Questions

How do I add a watermark to a photo?

Add the photo, type your name (or choose Logo and pick your logo file), choose a corner and an opacity, and press Add the watermark. The preview shows it on your picture first. Nothing is uploaded, and no watermark of ours is added.

How do I watermark many photos at once?

Add them all together. Each gets the same watermark in the same place, sized to its own shorter side, so a batch of different sizes still looks consistent. Save them one by one or as a ZIP.

Can I use my logo as a watermark?

Yes. Switch to Logo and choose the file. A PNG with a transparent background looks best; a JPG logo keeps its white box. At 40–60% opacity a logo marks the picture without covering it.

Where should a watermark go so it can’t be removed?

Across the subject, repeated — which is what Tiled across the picture does. A mark in a corner is tidier but can be cropped off in seconds. For product listings, a small corner mark is usually enough; for proofs you are sending before payment, tile it.

Will the watermark lower my photo’s quality?

Only the pixels under the watermark change. A JPG is saved again at 92% quality, which looks the same on screen; choose PNG under Save as to keep every other pixel exactly.

Does this add its own watermark too?

No. The only mark on the result is the one you set. There is no account and no limit on how many photos you do.
