Post a long video on WhatsApp Status
A long video cut into numbered parts that each fit in one status, posted in order.

WhatsApp Status plays one short clip per update. WhatsApp’s help pages now give 90 seconds as the limit, but older versions of the app still stop at 60, and anything longer is cut or refused when you post it.
The fix is to cut the video into parts before you post, so each status carries the next minute. Splitting copies the video rather than compressing it again, so the parts look exactly as good as the original and a long video is done in seconds.

Split the video into 60-second parts
Drop the video into the splitter and leave the length on 60 seconds. Each part ends on the last keyframe before the minute, so none of them runs over, and they are numbered 01, 02, 03 in playing order.

A screen recording or a walk-through often works at 1.5× or 2× speed, which halves the number of parts. Voices keep their normal pitch.

Post the parts in order
Add them to your status one after another, starting from part 01. WhatsApp plays a contact’s updates in the order they were posted, so viewers see the whole video in sequence.

- If your WhatsApp already accepts 90-second statuses, choose 90 seconds and you will post a third fewer parts.
- WhatsApp compresses every status video on upload whatever you do. Starting from the original, uncompressed parts gives it the best material to work with.
