    Drop in the video — MP4, MOV, WebM or anything older.

  2. Check the settings

    Pick a speed: 2× halves the length, 0.5× doubles it. Keep the sound or drop it.

  3. Save the result

    Wait while it re-encodes, then save the MP4. It plays on every phone and computer.

Why it doesn’t upload

The clips people speed up are screen recordings, lectures and calls — the kind with other people’s names and faces in them. The whole job runs in this tab with FFmpeg compiled for the browser, so the video never leaves your device.

How to check for yourself

Worth knowing

  • This tool uses the FFmpeg engine: a one-time 31 MB download, then it works offline.
  • Changing speed means re-encoding the picture, which in a browser runs slower than a desktop editor. A few minutes of 1080p can take several minutes, and longer on a phone.
  • Slow motion repeats frames rather than inventing new ones. A clip recorded at 120 or 240 fps slows down smoothly; a normal 30 fps clip looks steppy below about half speed.
  • The result is always an H.264 MP4 at a high quality setting, the format that plays everywhere.

How do I speed up a video?

Drop the video here, choose 2× (or 1.5×, 3×, 4×) and press Change the speed. The picture and the sound are both sped up, the result is half the length, and you save it as an MP4. No account, no watermark, and nothing is uploaded.

Does speeding up a video change the pitch of the voices?

No. The sound is time-stretched rather than played faster, so voices stay at their normal pitch — faster, not higher. If you would rather have no sound at all, set Sound to Remove it.

How do I make a slow-motion video?

Choose 0.5×, or Custom for 0.25×. It looks best on clips filmed in a phone’s slow-motion mode (120 or 240 fps), which already hold the extra frames. A normal 30 fps clip works too, but each frame is shown twice or more, so fast movement looks jerky.

Is there a watermark or a length limit?

No watermark and no length limit. Long videos just take longer, because every frame is re-encoded on your own device.

Can I speed up only part of a video?

Not in one step. Cut out the part first with Trim Video or Split Video, change its speed here, then put the pieces back together.

What speeds can I use?

Anything from 0.25× to 8× with Custom. Above about 4× the sound becomes hard to follow, which is why removing it is offered.
